Hahha, yes. I have to agree. I heard him on the radio show I listen to in the morning, and they actually asked him if he had to grab himself to get that high. He just laughed and said no, and that it was comfortable to sing in that range because it's the voice he had first. For a sec I was confused and thought he meant he'd had a sex change or something, but then I realized, duh, pre-puberty voice.
his deep voice is amazing (I did enjoy the higher tones in aladdin, but not in the phantom). He should stick with opera songs, though, I didn't like the pop ones.
I didn't see the phantom video! I'll have to check that one out.
I have to say, I liked the high voice better in some of the pop songs. Especially his version of Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You. It's got a very feminine quality to it in that. His Somewhere Over the Rainbow is also good. But his Disney ones are pretty good too. The Aladdin one, and he does a version of The Little Mermaid that sounds really a lot like a girl.
