1. For those of you who weren't aware, Joe and I got back together recently. :) It's a good thing, I'm pretty sure it's a good thing because although we have issues we're working on, I'm much, MUCH happier with him than without him. I'm taking that as a reason to stick with it ( Read more... )

glad to hear at least some things are going well. It sucks you've spent all that time applying for vet school. don't give up if its really your dream!

I'm glad you're happy again with him!! I was wondering where you went when you hadn't updated in a while.

Too bad about the vet schools, but I'm sure you're working hard for next year's applications!! *crosses fingers already*

I don't really know what to say about the lab thing. It sucks that you're unhappy there, and it sucks that people you like got hurt. Good luck on the job hunting, I think that's what will really help you with your school.

Hehehe. yeah, I did disappear there for a while. I didn't know how to update the whole thing. Then I realized, I should just post and lay it all out.

As for next year's applications, I'm going to try hard to get moving on things I could do to increase my chances for next time. And you're right, I need to get very serious about job hunting because that kind of experience might make all the difference. I have to get off my butt and seriously start sending resumes out. Sucks that the job market is so horrible right now...

It definitely does make me feel a little better about the grad school thing. Joe is a big source of support and it was hard to lose that. I'm glad I got that back.

I want to see you move forward, and I like this plan.

I also like the idea of your going from place to place, from one internship to another. What a great opportunity that would be!

I do NEED some movement. I wish it wasn't being foisted upon me, but maybe I needed something like this kind of shove to get moving.

I'll work on the internship thing...that would be awesome. :)
