Tommy pulled the curtain closed around him, after making sure everyone was busy watching a movie. They didn't need to know about this. He didn't mind teasing, usually, but this needed to be about him alone.
It was supposed to help him decompress after shows, and that meant it needed to be a Tommy-time thing. He pulled out the hook and some yarn as well as the pattern he'd found. The therapist insisted that crocheting was a good way to combat anxiety, and it resulting in gifts for his new niece was just a pleasant bonus.
"Hey Tommy, whatcha doin'?"
