Could someone explain what the hell a button nose is? I mean, aside from Frosty the Snowman. Anyone we know that has one, for reference? It seems like a really stupid methaphor, to me . . .

For me, it's just one of those small noses that a baby might have...one that's too small for an adult's face. Plus, it's one of the few metaphors she would recognize and I couldn't just say, "Yeah, her face is eating her nose," even though, now that I think about it, it does sound funnier than "button nose." :-\

Button noses are still perfered over "big honkers". Let me tell you, I dodged I barge's face myself in my parent's gene pool. *whew* Close one. ;)
