Anyway, I wanna try for the 5 points on the Josh Gibson thing lol... Isn't he the one who slammed a home run more than like 500 feet at Yankee stadium (that would make it like one of the longest drives ever hit there)... I don't know.. Maybe not.. But that man was a line drive homerun owning machine. And if my first guess isn't right, I'd like to make a second guess... Didn't he hit like almost 800 home runs in his career? (But they couldn't officially establish that cause accurate records weren't kept?).... Maybe i am making a fool of myself for posting this comment... Oh well lol i'm blonde and i have no shame! okay i gg byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee *mwah!

wow. i didn't think anyone would get close. no, he's not known for hitting a 500 ft. hr at yankee stadium (although i'm sure he did). he is believed to have hit over 800 home runs in his career. all of them in the negro leagues, where accurate records were not kept. satchel paige and jackie robinson along with gibson were all considered for the first balck to play in the major leagues. only robinson had the temperment to handle the abuse branch rickey knew whoever was first would face. josh gibson was the most prolific home run hitter of our or any time. bonds has a chance to catch him, but not a good one. (some estimates put gibson's # at almost 950
