A Few Firsts for me, and some observations.

Well, today I got my first parking ticket ever in my life. Not so bad, 10 dollars for parking outside my own apartment whilst one of my neighbors friends parked in my assigned spot. I've never gotten a speeding ticket. I think I'll contest this parking ticket. Something that bugs me about this ticket is that there is no parking but for 90

I, too, got my first parking ticket not too long ago. It was $10. It was a pain in the ass. It was a learning experience. I know now NOT to park in front of the movie theater when I get my hair done. It tends to take more than an hour if I'm getting it cut and dyed.

I cried my way out of a speeding ticket once.... I was driving down the strip in Mandan at about 1:00 in the morning, coming home from karaoke. I'd had a bad day and was actually quite upset about something before I got pulled over. That's why I was driving fast. I started crying before the officer came up to the window. He said that was a first. I just explained I was having a bad day and he let me go. :)

Crying is why I am not a cop or law enforcement figure. I saw more people cry as a law enforcement park ranger then I ever did as a medic or fire fighter.
