I loved the whole thing, and there were several lines that grabbed me, but this image especially will stay with me for a while:

She remembers because when she sits beside his hospital bed she sees a dip in the sheets where his thigh muscle should be.

This will too:

Once, when he is about to shoot, House tries to block him and (Accidentally? He wonders often) grazes his cock with the tips of his fingers through the jersey. The ball misses by a mile.

But that's only because I'm an H/W shipper.

Wow. I can't believe how hot that basketball scene was. I mean, really, really hot.

And Cuddy watching him run in the rain and having sex against the wall was really hot too.

And Stacy is great in this, too.

Really, it's a great story!

Oh my God, don't take this the wrong way, but your writing makes me ache. The prose is gorgeous, characterizations are spot-on -- I love how you've addressed each of the different relationships each character has with House, tying it all into canon (like your reference to House and Cuddy's one-night-stand, and even though I'm not often a H/W 'shipper, that bit was totally plausible) but giving it your own spin. Formatting was excellent too, switching easily between time frames and viewpoints. Basically, this is one of my favorite Housefics, and I wish I'd written it myself. Without a doubt, mem'ing this, and is it okay if I friend you so I can enjoy your future fics?
