"scocca la scintilla" is a metaphorical way to say that someone falls in love!
"scarni incassi" it refers to The house of D, which didn't have good earnings
"casa e bottega" means exactly what you imagined, DD says that it's not good to confuse the things that happen at home with work.

Thanks to the explain what is 'grand guignol' , I didn't know that! lol ^^
"fantacoscienza" I think that doesn't exist in italian, there are 2 words: fanta (fantastic, fiction) and coscienza (conscience), they played with words, but I'm not sure...
'...religion, sex and literature.' : He simply says that he's interested in sex, religion and literature and also he surfs in the sea.

The religion part was a little difficult, I know... but you understand a lot!
