Guess who's in JROTC?
That's right, me! I'm really excited! It'll look good on my college app. too. =D Oh! And we go camping in about two months and get to learn all sorts of things. ^_^
Yeah, anyway, fencing yesterday. Not much to say. Did the basic footwork, yelled at the stupid 4 year olds... they kept swinging the blades about and nearly poking people in their eyes! >=( Yup, yup, so my friends and I were yelling at them and threatening to show them how it REALLY feels to have a blade hit them. XD We weren't too serious about the threats.
Then we practiced disengages, then we got suited up. Me and kate really wanted to fence each other, but Charlie had me show the newcomers how to suit up. GOSH. That's so frustrating. They were all like... 7 and below. And one really annoying 4 year old I had to help like a month ago demanded I help him and I made him ask me nicely, then made him wait last. XD
Charlie's been looking at me to help the beginners stretch or get suited up lately. I'm not too sure why, because there are others who have been there longer thatcan help... And I'm not even that impressive with kiddies. I don't even like them much. And he's always looking at me when mentioning strategies. It's really quite flattering. But I've always got strategies pretty well, I guess.
Oh! Rofl. I was telling Kate, Jamie, and Dylan about how back in the old days, when you wanted to challenge someone to a duel, you took your glove off and slapped them with it across the face. Well, I took my glove off and slapped Kate, this way there was no way we wouldn't fence each other next time and then Jamie did me and then Dylan slapped me. XD So I've got 3 people to fence next time. Yeahhhhh. Yippie!
I'm working on plotting a new story, as well. Originally, while I was helping out Diana come up with a plot for her story, it had been part of hers, but as we progressed it became apparent that the characters I wanted weren't really part of the story anymore, and I like it too much to let it go to waste. =)
School is actually pretty interesting. Even though I know most of Geo, I still like it. BIOLOGY is the friggin' shit, man. We took notes and I'm going to go read them, and not just because of the tests. Algebra is easy, and I'm ahead of the health class because I finish early so I read the huge health book. ^_^ Oh, and my English teacher has year-round PMS and he's really ...lame. And yet he is okay, sometimes. When he's not being an ass.
Whoooo JROTC tomorrow (hopefully my mom will call in before school starts!).
