Take it from someone who felt the same way about college (even though I didn't go very far away at all), it's really not so bad... once you get into the swing of things, start making friends, college is really just like a home away from home. You won't even notice how much you miss home if you focus on everything else there is. It'll be a great experience for you. =) Listen to me, sounding like I know stuff, haha...
