I have been putting off an update for about a week now. So some things have happened.
Have you Non-NY folks heard about this flood? Luckily for me, I live where our biggest problems were that we lost power repeatedly, and we had no way out of town because of flooded roads. But Binghamton, my hometown and the town that I work in got hit pretty bad. ( Read more... ) -

I am exhausted and slightly inebriated (margarita out of a bucket and then Bramble Berry wine), so clearly this is the perfect time to update.

Well, it's coming along fairly well. We may have to cut corners on our weekend plans, because we are simply too booked; I need another day to tie up loose ends in terms of packing, so we can make the process go a little more smoothly.
