I'll be taking my kids to "Buried Under" comics in Manchester. Roger v5.4 gets a Sonic comic every times he goes...but last time he also picked out a Brave and the Bold because he liked the Blue Beetle. I can't help him out with the DC stuff so he is on his own. Katie likes Tiny Titans and Archie. Marvel has an age gap!

marvel has fantastic story lines, but dc is better for kids. i think its because of the colors and easy to remember names. favorite color+ skill= dc character name. i did get both the dc and marvel encylopedias for x-mas. they are helpful for basic info but thats it. most of the character blurbs are extreamly short unless its one everyone knows like spiderman, hulk, superman, and batman.
