boring bird entry

saw my first birdies on the feeder my uncle made for me (and that my dad, alan and i stained, aww family bonding)..yay..most of the birds are just house sparrows being douches to each other..but i did just see a blackcapped chickadee. I chose this feeder out of several that my uncle had made, but i didn't realize that it was the one he had messed

BIRDS ARE THE WIN OF THE WORLD

What kind of feed are you using? I could go on and on about birdfeeding theories, but the bottom line is that I haven't fed any since ninth grade.

Oh, and they LOVE birdbaths in winter. I used to take hot water out to the bath every day and unfreeze the ice, and they flock to it.

i thought about that.the water thing..but i figured it was a fuckload of work..and i'm lazy..yay..i'm glad i'm probably doing something wrong by feeding them

Naw, you're not doing anything wrong! I meant theories as in what to feed them, I only put the "haven't fed them since ninth grade" to underscore that I am lazy and probably don't know what I'm talking about.

None of which matters because birds suck. Only terrestrial birds have a shot at being acceptable and even then a rigorous gauntlet of trials doom most to also-suck. The way they mock us with their "flight" and their ridiculous, mutant "hands". It's sickening.
