I woke up this morning to sad news. The baby elephant that was due any month/day now died while the mom was in labor. I was so excited about this and waited two years to see a baby elephant calf in rochester. I even was saving my free zoo passes to go see the calf when it was finally born. Elephants are awesome, but dying baby elephants has no amount of cool. You have my sympathies. :(
