Paranoid much?

I have enough money to get the Nintendo DSi. I want to buy it online with using my mom's card but she's so paranoid that she believes someone is going to steal her identity or some shit. I'm not trying to buy it from a person. I'm trying to buy it from Amazon. She needs to stop being so damn paranoid all the time!!!!

My dad is EXACTLY the same way. It has to be a generational thing plus the nightly news who use scare tactics about identity theft and stuff like that.

In fact, my dad is so paranoid that he won't even use his Futureshop credit card to buy stuff from the Futureshop website. I remember i had to beg him when I wanted to order my laptop and he conceded only because I said I would pay for it entirely by myself. My mom is less so since she let me use her credit card to buy a textbook but I'm just thankful I finally have my own.

As for your mom, try to explain to her that Amazon is safeguarded against that stuff and that the chances of identity theft are minuscule (I don't know if that's actually true lol)
