Keeping on my toes.
I have to keep this succinct, but my internship is awesome! The science center staff is on the whole very cheery and intelligent. My job is simple, but enjoyable thus far. Call it seasonal depression, but I am always happier when the weather is summer-y. Things finally seem like they have calmed down and are going well... or maybe am I an optimist. Or, possibly I am feeling happy because the past week has been an extra social one ( Read more... ) -

Good news!
I got in grad school!!!! I also got the Graduate Research Assistantship which means I work 20 hours per week at the Science Center and all my fees (tuition, books, etc. ) are covered plus they give me a $7,500 stipend. For my own future reference when I am bored and broke and can't think of anything to do. Repeat as necessary. Some restrictions may apply. (For example, the Botanical Gardens are only free Wed and Sat before noon, and the Omnimax is free because I have a crapload of extra tickets. Rufus.
A neighbor found Rufus, dead. He was 20 feet from our house, just laying in the corner of our neighbor's yard. We have no idea what happened. -

I don't want to write this, because that makes it seem more real, more concrete. Rufus ran away two days ago. We're all taking it pretty hard, especially my dad and Daisy.
