Other world, in Asia

[Hong Kong decides quite soon that staying in his room might be safer than going somewhere, but he will need food after a certain amount of time, and it is safer to go to an unknown place while he still got the little strenght that he has and isn't weakened by hunger. So, when he gets out of the tunnel ( Read more... )

Hong Kong! [A button-eyed America runs up to him, looking younger than usual (then again he does look young anyway) and wearing the same traditional clothing as everyone else.]

We're eating now! You should join us!

[Stops dead. What is America wearing there? Also... we?]

[He tries to figure out where the older nation came from.]

Whom are you with?

Well, that's a silly question! Why would I tell you when you could see for yourself?

[He doesn't really react to those words, he looked up and saw the button eyes.]

What is with your eyes?

[ The Other-Japan had been carrying the food and putting it on the table, when his beautiful, black, shiny button eyes caught sight of Hong Kong. ]

Hong Kong-kun! You're back!

[ He hastly set down the food, and trotted over to Hong Kong, his outfit resembling what he would have worn in the Heian periods. ]

[The younger nation stares at Japan, waiting for something to happen. He has been on his guard ever since he notice that the other Asian was in the mansion, because of what happened where he was from, later, even though Japan said that it was over now, because of what he heard about later happenings, and then because of what had happened during the mirror event. He wouldn't have gone as far as to let it change it attitude towards Japan further, but it had remained the way that it had been when he arrived first.]

[So he keeps standing where he is, eyes scanning the room shortly before they examine Japan.]

[Those eyes.... ?]

[He waits for Japan to reach him.]

Back to what?

[What is this supposed to be?]

[ Once Japan reached Hong Kong, he smiled at him, and patted his head, as if Hong Kong was a little child. ]

Back to us. The world you really wanted, Hong Kong-kun. We've been waiting so long for you to come.

[He looks at Japan for a moment, trying to find the meaning in his words. Then dark eyes that still don't show any emotion look at the other again.]

How would anyone know what kind of world I wanted?

[ Other-England's sitting at the table in a Chinese collar suit, enjoying a conservation in fluent Chinese with the other table inhabitants. He turns to give Hong Kong a wave once he hears him enter ]

Sit down already, Hong Kong! No need to mope by the door like that.

[The buttons are a bit worrying, and when did England learn Chinese this well, and... why is he even here, wearing Chinese clothes? But the half-order is something that seems normal, and natural anyway. There is no use in standing by the door, because if the button people want him to enter, they might make him if he doesn't obey.]

[While he thinks about this, his feet have already carried him through half the room. Old habits don't die, he is just used to listening to UK.]

Good evening.

[He isn't sure about the time, nor sure what language and greeting to use, so he resorts to the safe English option first.]

No need for such formality, chap! We're all familiar with each other, after all.

Hong Kong! [Haru waves a sleeve covered hand at Hong Kong. He is wearing what everyone is however his sleeves are closer to Hong Kong's in length.] Where have you been? Everyone's missed you!

["Everyone"? That... who should? Except for China and Taiwan there is nobody whom he could think of, and neither of them is in the mansion... and, well, Haru. Haru is there, here, and... and HK still hasn't come to terms about that emotion.]

[He looks down, his eyes at the buttons for a moment, then scanning the body, the ...somehow way too much fabric that covers the other male's body.]

Everyone?

[Haru gestured to everyone who has gathered to be there to see Hong Kong in his other world.]

Why are they here?

[He will ask for the buttons later. Although they really bother him, especially Haru's. The buttons really ruin his facial expressions and just... everything. Not that the nations wouldn't look strange with their button eyes.]
