It will be tough for them to be as open about their love as they will need to be. Krylov gave Sid some hope, and the 'morality' clause sure got him thinking. But ultimately Sid followed his heart. My parents gave me that advice as a young man and told me about soon to be King Edward of England. In 1936 he fell in love with a twice divorced American woman, whom he could not marry in the Church of England. He could not be both king and married to her. Yes, he followed his heart, and gave up the throne of England to marry the woman he loved. He announced his abdication to his subjects and became a worldwide hero. That story so inspired me that when I realized I was gay in the 70's I had no hesitation in being open about it. I'm so proud of Sid for standing for who he is in loving Alex, and proud of Alex for his forgiving love of Sid. Love conquers all!
