She never gave him a thought when Tosh said her scans had revealed a longship in the bay, full of Vikings wielding axes.
Chasing another rogue Weevil through the tightly packed streets, she didn’t have time to wonder what he was doing at that precise moment.
She didn’t consider whether he was alive or dead every time Owen put a body on one of the steel tables.
Not even when Ianto slipped a cup of his delicious coffee onto her desk and stared longingly into Jack’s office.
Denial kept her functioning.
