GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!! I *love* this - I love both of them. Thank you so much - this is the first art I have ever had for a fic, I am very touched and thrilled that you chose my story to illustrate.
And the frying pans are an existential part of the story.
Hah! You've given me a great idea: slashing Camus and Sartre? No? Why ever not?
This is wonderful, firle - very intense, smouldering, hot, lusty, just how I like 'em (Bodie and Doyle, that is) and the colours are an excellent choice for the subject-matter. (And I love the way you've managed to get Bodie's gorgeous shoulder in the picture.) I'm very impressed with the standard of the artwork in this challenge. Well done!
Thank you! I'm happy that you like it! I was a bit worried that people maybe would complain about the woman in Ray's arms... but then I noticed that she nearly looks like Bodie with that short hair... :-)
And Camus and Sartre... oh, dear those were the old school days.
You mean you wasn't forced to read Camus and Sartre and especially 'Froth on the Daydream' by Boris Vian? Lucky you! This is really something you should only read when you're 'ready' for it!
I like the first version too, but it's not so decorative, I think.
Lovely! Just getting ready to leave this weekend but have downloaded your art as well as the story and will look again - more than once!! The colours are stunning.

But I'm still struggling with LJ. I wanted to post a better quality, but LJ is 'different' today...
Thank you!

(I just think it's a pity that Photobucket always shrinks the size)

Edit: Finally I've managed to upload the picture in the right size. *hugs*

Your school days sound a thousand times more interesting than mine.
I really like the black version at Callisto's page, too!
