::Misa stands there, wearing the same pale pink poofy dress and black boots she had been wearing in the Stages of Life room. She's a little nervous, and also a little annoyed because she's so short as it is, but now she feels exceedingly small! She knocks on the door, a bit hesatintly, but she knocks anyway because she really wants to see him, knowing she'll feel comforted just by spending some time with him.::

Who's there?

*It doesn't sound like Misa... well, not exactly. But it's certainly a little girl.*

*He cracks the door open, and looks down. There is, indeed, a small brown-haired girl in a pink dress staring up at him. He stares back at her, taking in her appearance, and realizes that the child does look precisely as Misa might have looked at the age of four or five.*

How did we get out of the room where you were a mermaid?
*he asks, gently; he wants to know that it's really her.*
