*A new symptom has appeared: a rash, darker green, on his chest over his heart. He is dozing, but his hands are shaking.*

*light has been hiding out in his room on the eighth floor for the past couple of weeks, completely unaware of the mysterious illness spreading throughout the mansion. he is profoundly bored, however, and had decided to pay L a visit in order to retrieve his notebook. he finds the room without difficulty, and he hesitates in front of the door for a second, musing about how weird it is to be knocking to enter a room he used to inhabit. he shrugs, and knocks lightly on the door. no answer immediately, so he tries the doorknob and finds it unlocked. he opens the door a crack, calling into the room:*

*The noise startles him awake, and he opens one eye, looking over the surface of the pillow and the nightstand, toward the door.*

*His voice is very soft and weak.*

Who's there?

*light cautiously pokes his head in around the door.*

um, it's me ... light? are you - *his gaze falls on L, and he gasps*

*He pushes himself up on one elbow, cringing at the pain.*
