I'd like to think I wouldn't be this way if it weren't for the idiot neighbors, but sometimes I wonder.

And I think the COMMITTING part would be, like, on an hourly basis or something.

Lust is the only deadly sin worth anything. All the rest of them are their own punishments. I've read that early on, lust wasn't even counted as a deadly sin and it only made the final cut after a lot of arguing.
