Yay! I kicked my writer's block under the bed and dragged those plot bunnies out! Enjoy! BTW...let me know if you find any boo boos. I was pretty tired when I finished this and haven't had much of a chance to really give it a thorough going over. :)

Poor Draco, never able to be free of his past and his family. Nicely done, looking forward to more.

Alas, that's part of being a Malfoy. I certainly wouldn't want to be part of that family. Talk about dysfunctional and warped ideas of discipline and family values! Yipes! Thanks so much for the review. :)

Yes, I'm quite mean to him aren't I? Heh, heh. He's fun to be mean to though. Besides, Harry's always around to make him feel better or pick up the pieces. :) Thanks for the review.

Just wanted to say this was awesome! You definately know how to write *nods* I was in awe of your style all the way through. You clearly brought out the pain Draco was feeling internally.

And on a side note, Lex always does have the best quotes, doesn't he? LOL Whoever comes up with those little meaningful quoatable lines of his is absolutely brilliant.

Wow! Thanks for such high praise. You definitely made my day! ;) I'm so glad you liked it, like I said before, I was a bit worried about how this might come off. *whew*

Heh, heh, yeah, Lex always says something noteworthy. The writers for that show sure know how to endear him to the fans. *sigh* Now, if I could only put him in my pocket right alongside Draco, life would be good! LOL :)

Thanks for your wonderful words of praise! :)

*SQUEE!* MICKEY!!!! LOL Sorry I'm a huge Mickey Mouse fan LOL I love your icon, reminds me of the little dream-come-true trip I might be going on to Disneyland later this year...

And you shouldn't worry, you did perfectly fine ;) It was worthy of the praise, I meant it :)

Hmm... so do they have mini versions of Lex? Think you might need one of those newfangled shrinking machines, and well some access, and you could have those little pocket versions ;)

Don't be sorry, I totally understand about Mickey. :) He's my absolute hero! I've got a picture of him with my son and I framed in gold and his autograph tucked in the corner. It rests on the wall facing my front door so that is the first thing people see when they walk into my house.

When we took that picture, my son and I were the only grown ups without children in tow standing in line. Mind you, I had to drag my son who was about fourteen at the time, with me so I didn't look too pathetic. LOL

I've got another one of just him and I sitting on my file cabinet in my classroom. That way when I tell my kids I've seen Mickey, I have the evidence to back it up! ;)

Have fun on your trip if you get to go! You'll love it, I'm sure. On a side note, I took that picture during the Parade of Stars. Be sure you watch it if you go.

Ooh yeah, mini Lex! Now there's a concept I can wrap my head around.

I agree, Harry needs to be more on his toes, especially around Lucius. That man is viciously mean! Of course, his obliviousness tends to make some good angst for Draco, no? LOL ;) Thank you so much for taking time to review. :)
