It's almost as though they are trying to remind me why I'm so happy to leave my current job. More and more shit, always the same deal, making me go on the cash, annoying customers that seem to always show up just *after* you've sat down. Endless streams of pointless jobs. It's almost too much to bear ( Read more... )

Stupid customers...with stupid questions...they are the bane of my existence...

when you return to the new world, I could recommend some nice wooded areas semi-far from people where you can walk and relax...

california is good for the scenary, great for the hiking, but the people here are exactly the same as people everywhere else. in fact, i believe it's humanity that has the problem; we've become so overpopulated that the increased number of inbreds has forced society to take a pitfall on the intelligence factor.

which may be why it is so hard to find good conversations, but maybe ill come visit you in ye olde canada.

Well that would certainly be nice (the visit that is), but I have to get back to Canada first ;)

You could come and visit the "motherland" if you want, though I think you'd probably prefer Canada. It's cheaper if nothing else!

You're probably right about people, they are pretty much the same everywhere. But there are just some places where it is easier to find people you can get along with. Where I live is a relatively small town, so there is very little variety in the places you can go. Since I don't like any of the modern mainstream music (read endless techno, dance and hip-hop), I don't like pretty much any of the pubs/clubs around here. Add to that the fact that the drinking laws seem to cause people to get completely wasted before 11pm and it makes meeting anyone interesting rather difficult indeed.
