I sometimes wonder why I'm bothering running this rat race we call life. It so rarely seems to hold any merrit these days. Like I'm just surviving. Pushing myself through endless mundanity just to reach the next sunrise. When I awake, I find another day the same as all those that have past before it

You are interacting with one of the best tools I've found for making contacts.

If there are local groups for you on LJ, join them. Go to meetups, I've made lots of friends that way. Meet an interesting person? Check if they have an LJ. If not, pimp for a code for them ;)

Everyone gets periods of disillusionment sometimes. See my last philosophical post for my views on the universe. I too believe we are here to learn, and one advantage is that it's best to learn in this life, or we come back and learn the same things again....

Mmm... I have a philosophy all my own. I'm sure there are probably others that share some or even all aspects of it, but I've not heard of them if they have :) It's alright with me anyway, as I'm not very fond of organized religion (as you may have guessed from this very post
