"Oh! Headmaster. You surprised me."
"I'm not Headmaster for much longer. I just wanted you to know that, though. I was afraid you might think I was upset you didn't pick a side."
The doctor shook her head. "I did my job. I knew you'd understand that."
Cid stared at the student on the cot, trying to figure out what else he wanted to say.
"I am glad you won," she said, giving him a peck on the cheek. He smiled sadly and thanked her again before he left.

Odin marveled at the maiden's control. It felt almost a shame to take advantage of her in such a fashion. *dies*
I was hoping someone would write this one, out of all of my FFVIII choices, but I never expected to have to resuscitate myself over it.
