I really enjoy how you build up this story-- you've really got an eye for detail and you very convincingly portray just how a very unlucky encounter with an entite would go. And your Penelo is such a doll and your Larsa! He's so freaking adorable, what with his little blushes and him trying to protect Penelo and apologizing for not doing so! He is an absolute doll, it's ridiculous. And you make me very much wonder of just how he'll deliver the kiss he owes her later on. ♥

In any case, this was a lovely present and I hope you can forgive me for not coming back to it sooner! Blame RL for being a total hag in this regard. ::sigh:: And I'd love it if you wanted to write this up as a stand-alone in a post and linked this to ffxii_fic and larsaxpenelo. I'm sure people would love it there. ;)

Perhaps the attention to detail is partly due in part to my own encounter with that entite, before heading to Mt. Bur Omisace. Most of my party was at a piddling level 26 back then (with Penelo and Basch being the only ones at level 30), and this is exactly how it played out. Well, the battle part at least.

I'm glad you liked it! Admittedly, I fear I didn't do so well with this, because apart from having only around 30 minutes to work around it, I absolutely fail when it comes to making things short.

I think I'll post it as a stand-alone when I write a more presentable companion for it (perhaps the future kiss in question.) Thanks for commenting again! :)
