A video file of some Japanese guy playing Super Mario Bros. 3 that a friend showed me a few days ago. I can't even begin to find the words to describe how evil this is.

Yeah, that's pretty sick. Though I still think the quake run though was the most disgusting of them all. Just about the entire time the guy was rocket jumping (blasting the rocket launcher into the ground to throw the character a long distance in the air). That guy was litterally flying through the levels including lava pits. The most disgusting part of that is that it takes alot of life away to do a rocket jump in the first place. Also pulled stunts like use the shot gun point blank at an upward angle to toss a supposedly unmoveable enemy so that you can run underneath them. I'll see if I can get the video file from my friend.

Well, the main reason why I was so impressed with it is because of all the time I spent playing Mario 3. I literally spent dozens(perhaps even hundreds) of hours on that game back in the day, and I got REALLY good at it, but I could never even come close to doing the stunts that he is able to pull off

If you have the Quake video the next time I'm at your house I'll take a look at it, though I doubt I would share your opinion on it. Having never played Quake (and I don't plan on it - I dislike FPSs in general) I probably wouldn't be able to appreciate how "disgusting" you say it is. *shrugs* but hey, they're completely different genres, so you really can't compare the two...

and then there's the people who go through the monster arena in FFX without using the Sphere Grid. *shudder* There's a freak for every game... @_@
