Ichigo was in a rather good mood after the Carnival. Dunking people was strangely satisfying and he could at least appreciate that part of the whole homecoming thing. That's what he thought he'd be doing anyway. Ino had other Plans, and those Plans had not changed even though he'd dunked her earlier.

She was all dressed up, and looking quite pretty in her opinion, when she rapped on his door frame.

He did think so because he was going to spend his evening in his room (or he was just really naive).

"Come in," he called, not looking up from his book. It didn't count as talking, he hadn't seen who it was.

She grinned, and opened his door.

Then just Looked at him. No way was he staying here for the evening.

He glanced up to see who it was and blinked because that was Ino and she was dressed up. He hadn't seen Ino dress up before and it for a moment stopped whatever realisations that might have followed next.

Just for a moment and then he snapped his mouth shut and raised an eyebrow. She wasn't going to get back at him for the dunking.
