Although, it's Nero not Neuro, that would be pronounced differently (it's been bugging me for ages). And what's a Dux?

Thank you :) I've been trying to work on it for ages and I'm fairly certain it won't ever be finished but it's the ground work done. I love all her little bits that you read in stories or hear in the audios. Or what we make up :)

And Dux is the top academic person of the school but you don't find out who it is until the end with an award ceremony. Their name goes on a big board for the next 80 years or whatever, and they get a trophy/medallion to take home. What would be the equivalent over there?

There isn't a Dux equivalent. Even in my school, which was into academic achievements and awards for various things. I suppose the only equivalent I can think of is getting into Oxbridge, but not everyone would have wanted to go, even if they were ridiculously clever, and did 4 A levels and got all As.

Also, I think the Dux idea sounds awful (and the name is weird, is it pronounced like ducks?). But then I hate academic awards (not that I was ever likely to win one, thankfully).
