She was awestruck. A.D.A Cabot almost fell into the squad room. Olivia Benson was sitting on a desk discussing a case with the other Detectives. Everyone was oblivious of Alex standing in the door. Not that Alex hasn't seen the Detective before and there was nothing unusual in her appearance today, yet Alex had weak knees and her hand was trembling when she tried to hold on to the door frame. Olivia looked stunning. Wearing a blue long sleeve and black slacks as usual, the sight of Olivia affected the blonde more than usual. Memories of the previous night blocked Alex's vision. Olivia whispering sweet things into her ear. Alex out of breath because of Olivia's skills... “Get a grip, girl!”, murmuring Alex headed for her new lover and her colleagues.
Blonde
Olivia saw blonde women everywhere. She saw Alex Cabot everywhere. She saw a blonde woman, she saw Alex and every time her heart skipped a beat. Alex turning around every other corner. Alex drinking in their bar, so she avoided this bar. She saw her in the ladies' restroom of of the station house, which she couldn't avoid. She even saw her on her own couch, so she considered buying a new one. Alex was not among these blonde women haunting the Detective. And Alex was not sitting on Olivia's couch mocking her, so buying a new one, wouldn't do the trick. Alex could not be everywhere as Alex Cabot was nowhere. Alex Cabot wasn't Alex Cabot anymore but Emily, living somewhere in the Midwest.
