De hadn't forgotten about their meeting, and he was only a bit late because he hadn't really known where he was going, despite Helen's directions, this meeting being in a different location to the first. It wasn't based upon his slight reluctance at all. He knew that this was meant to help, was probably helping, but still...

He had made his way to his appointment without Bill and Len this time. They had offered to accompany him, as before, but De had declined. He had to do these things for himself, he thought. He shouldn't need them to be there for everything. Earlier, he had made it into Botany, on his own, and that had been fine. Consequently he was sure that he could make it to his appointment by himself.

Upon finally finding what he hoped was the correct office, De pressed the buzzer, and waited.

"De," Helen said as she opened the door for him. "It's good to see you. Please come in."

His slight tardiness hadn't worried her; she'd gotten lost, as well, the first time she had tried to find to her new office. She stepped back and led the way over to where a couch and two armchairs were arranged, in much the same configuration as she'd had in her quarters.

"I'm glad you made it," she said as they sat down. "How have you been?"

"I got a little lost," De muttered, trying to make himself comfortable. "Every corridor looks the same." He shrugged. "Been okay, I suppose."

"Believe me, I understand," Helen replied. "It's no problem."

"So what have you been up to this week, De?"
