[ Eleventh Reincarnation | Video | Aftermath ]

My... that was certainly QUITE a production, wasn't it?

[ And he chuckles. ]

My sympathy to the girl in question, but unfortunately, our 'doctor' is quite correct: acting rashly tends to end poorly. As in people dying... or ending up in animal suits.

[ A heightened sense of taste really wasn't so bad. It seemed he'd gotten lucky for once. One ( Read more... )

Maybe it's like a video game and we all get a certain number of revives until we run out.

And I have better things to do than keep an eye on Sparks.

Which is precisely why you should not overuse this.

[ Anyway. ]

... She is from your organization, is she not? Keep an eye on such renegade stupidity, if she screws up any worse, it'll affect what goes on here beyond entertainment for you.

Well, there is always cheats.

Still not seeing why I should keep an eye on her. And you are really overestimating her if you think she can screw up things in such a big way here.

What is the world if not made of data, hm? You'd be somewhat harder pressed to find the proper cheats here, however. That will take closer observation, I imagine.

[ A pause, and a laugh. ]

I don't know, I've found stupidity to be quite an infectious disease. She could start a plague.

[Oho, well then, Naoya-]

I got out anyway. Just ask Joshua, we met in the forest.

[He won't look smug about that, but really; Azriaphale gave him permission to go, and Alice? was okay about it, in the end. All's well that ends well?]

[ Oh, but he will. ]

... Kiryuu said I had to watch you. He never said I had to make sure you stay in there.

[ He's saying he let you leave and be an idiot, Neku. You kind of owe him. :|a ]

He should babysit you himself, anyway.

It's not? Huh... That's kinda cool.

Just 'cause I'm her superior by three ranks doesn't mean she's my responsibility, dude. She never listens anyways.

Not precisely.

[ An absent shrug. ]

Well, I don't honestly care what she does. Rather, try to keep her from spreading her stupidity and inciting the ire of our captors, hm? That won't end well, I imagine.

I came from a world where I already died twice.

Yeaaah... About that? She never took orders from me very well. You could put us on a mission together and she'd leave me for dead. Then again, I'd probably do the same..

How wonderful to know that. Try not to die again, it wastes resources.

[ AKA he doesn't care. ♥ But the latter part of Demyx's words earn a small sigh. ]

A shame, that. I suppose I'll have to do something, then. I really hate involving myself with such trifling things, though.

Guess it's too much to ask you to play nice, huh Naoya?

[a sigh] I asked Alucard to hold back on killing anyone but... jeeze. That was really out of hand...

I've told you once Saya, and I will say this again: emotions are useless. Discard them. Playing nice will only get you killed faster. In the end, logic is all that matters.

[ A pause, and... he laughs. ] Personally, I found it to be rather amusing, but it was in fact quite out of hand, yes.

And I will again say that I beg to differ. An existence without emotions sounds really empty.... and more than a little boring. For someone who's been alive so long, I'm starting to think that you don't know how to live, Naoya. [she rolls her eyes and laughs a little]

You're... kind of a jerk sometimes. [a shrug] I hope she comes back, at least. There's no real guarantee on it, y'know?

You only differ because you do NOT know, Saya. And that is all.

[ He'd gladly be rid of all of them and be boring 8| ]

Personally, I'm hoping not. The last thing we need is another murdering lunatic on our hands. I'd say I'm flattered, really, but I'm not.

[ Especially not when his cousin could be in danger. >| ]

[you look like you need the sunshine in your life back, Naoya. have this face peering and brightly smiling at you again.]

Naoya... How are you?

[afterwards, he paused a little and eyed to the side faintly. he seemed to be thinking about something.]

I have an idea... I think. Maybe they bring them back before the moment they die... Since they're capable of bringing people back from different worlds and time periods, after all.

Kind of like a reset...?

... I can take care of myself.

[ In other words, he has other things to worry about. ]

No, if they brought us in from before we died... that wouldn't affect anything. Time 'stops' at home, after all, and then we would have no memory of this place, as well. My theory is rather that they have a way of reviving the body, which in itself is not hard so long as you have the soul. Of course, if that is obliterated, this would mean they would need to make a new one...

[ He seems to be giving this great consideration. ] The world, including humans, even nonhumans, is simple data... to get ahold of this data would not always be easy, but if you did... then it would be simple to revive the dead. Just rebuild that data.
