This week at work so far has been a shitshow. Very busy, very intense, and today was some (MORE) bad news that kind of just chewed up any positivity I had left in me (a small, minuscule amount, comparable in size to maybe a couple atoms) and spit it out on the floor like a pile of Marzy's vomit. i collect problems, i am my gramma reborn, drunk - watch me craft, first world problems, i work too much, secretly a waterbender, the joys of home ownership, introspection with sev, 99 problems, investments in my future, my brain the sqwhale, "well i'm not dead" con, made an appointment with dr jack daniels, the wide door and the narrow door, priorities: i has them, this took me 5 hours to write at work, feymarch interior decorating, productivity is for chumps, epic battles: sev vs time, writing, meet my personal trainer franzia, don't mock my dreams, epic battles: sev vs her body, sev is in the "other" category, zeromus wants this action, music, lists turn me on, i can't get no satisfaction, working out

Turns out a break really was exactly what I needed.

It sure wasn't long enough; 3 days off work does not cure four months two years of incredible ongoing stress with no break at all. But it does help. Small recovery is better than no recovery ( Read more... )
