Sally got the job at the silver mine in Mudgee, so she's staying down there. For the time being I'll keep working in Brisbane and we'll do the long distance thing. Not ideal, but I wouldn't be able to get a job in Mudgee (certainly not one that pays anywhere near as much as my current job) so we'll leave it a while and see what happens.

just caught up on your entries form this year and last - seems like you've had some twists and turns but overall good. sucks about the long distance relationship man. hope you guys can stick through it. i'm guessing Sally has been missing her family a lot?

Hi Shiks! Glad you're still alive! Haven't heard much from you on LJ or FB, but I know what it's like, being a big hot-shot lawyer and all. :)

I actually had to wrack my brain for a while to remember your username! Thought it was you, and confirmed by checking your user info and seeing "Name: A." and description of being a lawyer.

Sally's been missing her family, yes, but spending any more than a few days there is usually enough to drive her nuts and relieve her of that. And thusly it transpired again. :)

I was going to ask how you're doing but I see you've posted so I'll leave that for a comment on your LJ. :)

haha i know the feeling. i have (sadly) forgotten a few people on LJ, or i think i know who they are and it turns out i've confused them with someone else i my head...

does that mean you won't be moving to Mudgee? :P
