All of you Tastykake fans can relax now. Flowers Foods, a Georgia-based competitor has stepped in and purchased the struggling franchise. The $165 million deal will keep Tastykake operating and will even possibly turn it into a national brand. Tastykake has been struggling since the recession and inundated with millions of debt. Hey Gramps, just the person I was looking for. You know, it's not a Good investment. Hell you made a great investment! Tastykakes are so worth it, you have no idea. It services all of the Mid-Atlantic area, they are also sponsors for my sports teams and other programs.
What made them become so deep in debt was that new bakery; but they really needed it.
