Island Getaway! (No, not ~that~ island)

Its called Muir Island and its been uninhabited now for generations. I thought it would be nice for all of us to get away. And maybe do Charles' mind some good. Somewhere private

It is, isn't it? Thank goodness for rich ancestors. Sad thing is, no one's really used this place in years. We stopped coming here when I was a kid.

You know, I was thinking - if you ever needed somewhere to conduct research or build, that was too sensitive to be in the mansion - I'm sure this island could be of use.

Well, we do have a library in the castle manor. Feel free to read up on as much as you'd like. Maybe you can even fill me in on a bit. My Muir Island knowledge is quite rusty. Though ::side smiles:: Alex seemed rather excited at the idea of hiking with you.

::can't help but beam at his reaction:: Of course! This place deserves better use than its had in all these years. Though with the rate I've been studying, perhaps I'll be able to do my own research out here someday.

::looks him over:: This isn't Cuba, Erik. I'm sorry. Perhaps the beach is still too sensitive. I hadn't thought... I thought North Scotland would be far enough removed from the tropics.

However, there's far more to this island than the beach. I hope you find it an enjoyable escape.

Its alright. About Shaw. I should have figured he'd find a way here. As long as he can't make it here on his own. I just worry about him being able to get to us should we ever need the island as a sort of safe house.
