Nobody likes second place... I feel like that one year at competition. We had a kick butt show, but we lost. We were good, but they were better. And we were on their territory. I feel like im stuck in a rut. I am above average but below exceptional. I wouldn't feel so bad, its just that when your second place you always feel like there's a chance

Here's the thing: you're going to be hurt and disappointed. You have to accept it, and realize that you've got to enjoy what you can and get what you can anyway. If your best isn't good enough, it sucks, but sometimes that's the way it is. Don't worry about UGA. Send in the best transcript and application you possibly can, and after that, it's out of your hands. Don't worry about girls. There are very few girls good enough for you anyway. If you get close to anyone, they will hurt you, and you've got to accept it. A lot of this is also advice to myself, since I'm starting to apply to grad schools. I'm terrified of not getting accepted, and I've got to get over it.
