Surprise, for the most part. It's a little disorienting to see oneself quasi-duplicated in miniature. *amused glance at Rathclonus*

*laughs* Admit it, she's adorable.

*swaps to Unicronian form*

'm not adorable! I'm an evil creation of a God of Chaos! *protests*

If I have to live with being called adorable, then so can you!

Difficult to say, but I cannot imagine I would find the experience at all pleasant.

Hey, I've been human, and I can tell you... well, there are parts that aren't too bad. *grins, shrugging*

*headtilt, slightly cynical look*

Somehow that fails to surprise me, coming from you. I can't imagine that too much mental adjustment was required in your case anyway.

Yeah, I'm flexible like that.

*grins widely, looking extremely amused* And which parts might they be?

*tries to imagine Cyclonus as human*

*initially smirks... then grimaces*

Eh, maybe not. Some mechs just aren't suited for the psychological stresses of losing everything that defines them as being 'them', and being forced to find out who they really are.

*frowns*

I find your reasoning flawed, Tact. In what sense could the loss of everything that defines oneself tell one anything about who one "really" is? In such a situation one merely learns what one is capable of surviving, and while that may be well worth knowing it has no deeper significance.

Though you are right - to turn me human would deprive me of much of what defines me. Which is why the idea does not appeal to me.

Now, here I will have to disagree with you, Cyclonus. One can not truly be whole without knowing beyond one's 'surface self'. Perhaps, it be the unfounded ideals of a Geminian, but it is still something I believe.

Strip off the alloys, the power of flight, the Decepticon sigil, the everything that you feel defines you as you. Now, think about it, and tell me who you are?

*reads, nodding to herself* Thanks, Cyc. *salutes*

humans have some very strange ideas of what constitutes humour. *glares

*blinks, starts to grin and laughs* But you know we love you really, right? *cute look*

Torqulon.

*looks stricken for a second* Oh, bugger. I was thinking like a sortie that went wrong or something- I'm so sorry. *leery look at the gun, but moves to stand next to him anyway and puts a hand on his arm with an apologetic look*

And for the record, if I were never asked again about the worst moment of my life, I would not mourn the loss.

Bad minion, no thinkee. *grimaces* You can ask me evil questions if you like to try and make up for it, if that's worth anything...

*optics soften, barely perceptibly* *lays my free hand over yours for a moment before drawing away*

Apology accepted. And after all, it is probably as well that I be reminded occasionally.

Questions, then...

1. If you had free choice of any Decepticon superweapon ever designed, which one would you most want to be armed with and why?

2. Did the Other Triad get a flagship of their own as part of their contract with Unicron, as we did? If so, what have you done with it? (And if not, do you wish you had?)

3. If you could choose... what do you think is the best way to die (assuming that "not at all" is not an option)?

4. What would you most want to have a galaxy-spanning reputation for?

5. Would you choose to go back to being human (permanently) if you could? Why - or why not?

*slight, relieved huff of non-breath* Thanks, and even if it is I'm not going to be the one to do it.

*barely audibly* And I'll pound anyone that tries to hurt him with it.

*looks at questions* Okay, those are evil. *sidelong grin and salute*

I'm assuming you wouldn't be willing to share any details?

Rammstein

Do you understand German? Or just listen to it for the music (not the lyrics)?

No.

[Editor's note: *pipes up* Someone was threatening to put him in a basque. Again.]

*whacks editor* Quiet! *hand over optics*

[Editor's note: *pained squeak* *grovels apologetically*]

As for Rammstein, I can understand the lyrics if I run the necessary translation - as is true of songs in any language - but I listen for the music. To someone coming from a background in Cybertronian-type sonic art, the human voice used in song tends to register as merely another instrument rather than a form of communication.

[OOC: I don't speak German, before you ask, but it seems logical that a TF can manage any Earthen language with relative ease.]

Ah, that makes sense.
