Can we just do this?

The Dis has been hanging around waiting for a rendezvous for some time. It wasn't, however, prepared for its acting-commander to stalk onto the bridge in a black mood that could rival one of Galvatron's own, and in a humanised body to boot.

~~????*and, since he can't use the touchpad, the ship breaks its own rule... and speaks ( Read more... )

*walks onto the bridge behind Cyclonus and goes straight to the touchpad, giving the Dis a once-over glance as she goes*

*concern for injuries-joy at reunion-worry-anger-frustration* //Hello...//

*sighs*

Dis, that rescue mission just got upgraded to a full evac and we need to move now. Consider Basi a Decepticon for the duration, by the way.

*looks around* Dreadboots, Raven, I'll need you to take the helm since I can't. The Dis can do most of the work but it would help to have you there...

*already at the touchpad, nods to him* Okay, boss. *hesitates, then slips into the pilot's seat. Galvatron's seat.

...She feels oddly like she's stealing.* *rests one hand on the touchpad again and waits for Raven to get in*

*Settles on the armrest, next to Dreadboots, and places one hand in front of her to touch the pad. Greets the Dis with a warm impression of ~~hello~~.*

*since Raven is new to this, the ship doesn't pull her straight into the neural interface but lets her pause at the edge to get a feel for the massive, complex, light-and-wireframe arrays that let the Dis interact with its pilots* *greets both Unicronians, though, with a wash of chilly but deeply felt affection/friendship*

~~welcome~~

Basi follows the Decepticons to the bridge, feeling a sense of not-quite-deja-vu. Being on the Dis again feels good, and while she's currently silent and contained, she's hoping for another chance to converse with the ship. Thalnshavir, while less enthused, is not naysaying. But there are no Autobots this time, no friends like Roddy or Metroplex - yet - and last time she did not go to the bridge.

As is usual, she moves out of the way of anyone else, simply because she doesn't have a duty here and doesn't want to interfere.

So it's possible that nobody notices the very sincere and pronounced blink when she hears and processes Cyclonus's order to the Dis concerning her, and she swiftly conceals any more noticible reaction.

*the Dis does not blink, but then again, it rarely does* *but Basi feels a sensation like the sweep of a black wing wrapping around her, welcoming*

~~ours now~~

Basi lets a smile flicker and tilts her head slightly; the feeling is like a small brush of the cheek, almost a nuzzle. She feels welcomed, and doesn't conceal that at all. Beneath the surface, part of her is analyzing and a deeper part yet is reacting with nothing more than an instinctive denial; my own. But why let any of that interfere?

Thalnshavir, ready, allows her to send to the Dis.

/for now,/ she says, teasing. /...'Missed you./

~~*protected* *favoured* *increased authorisation level*~~ *there's not really any suggestion of "ownership" or "possession" in there, though*

~~missed you also, small one-who-talks-with-walls...~~
