One Step Closer to 3 Decades on the Planet

Aug 08, 2005 05:32

And the seasons they go round and round
And the painted ponies go up and down
We're captive on a carousel of time

Have some cake.

I got a gloriously FAST new computer for my birthday! Happy hallelujah and pass the bananas, some good has come of this day after all. :)

Happy birthday! (Whenever).

What a nice little verse, and a nice surprise as well ---

Thanks! It's today. I like the song too; it's called The Circle Game. We sang it at our high school graduation.

Peter Jennings never graduated from high school, and only got around to becoming a citizen of the US during the last few years. He got into television in Canada because his father was prominent in the CBC.

He's among the major figures discrediting the mainstream media.

Any so-called journalist posing as an unbiased source of news loses all pretense of fairness when they make a comment about national election results (1994) being an expression of the electorate throwing a tantrum. That isn't quite verbatim, but it is very close. He said this on air, so it is likely online somewhere.

Coming from a non-citizen, it's even more outrageous. Having a high school dropout pose as intellectual elite passing judgment on an election outcome & damning the voters as stupid is simply absurd. Who the hell did he think he was, anyway?

Take a look at the piece I put up in my LJ

I'd sing you Happy Birthday, but the world would end. So I'll just say it instead.

Happy Birthday!
