Apparently so. I have never seen the show myself (before my time), but I have heard about it.

I, uh, saw it when it was fresh...10.30 AM Saturdays. Somebody at NBC bought it.

This is far too good for TNG!

:: paint dries ::
:: Roddenberry dies ::
:: Borg arrive ::
:: drama reinvented ::
:: lethargy sets in again excepting end-of-series step-hangers ::
:: series revealed as a comment on the increasing political correctness of the Federation, and vanishes up its own nacelle ::
:: finally one good idea about anti-time ::

step-hanger; like a cliff hanger, but much, much smaller.

LOL. But ST:TNG was much, much better than that. Most of the time. Except for "Haven" and "Skin of Evil".

"Darmok" is of course the best episode of anything ever.

Ah, yes! You would think that sci-fi shows would have many episodes showcasing methods for overcoming translation difficulties.

Ugh. Skin of Evil was simply awful. I refuse to acknowlege it as an episode of TNG--it was instead a small fluke in the space-time continuum.
