Alter Egos

Muahahaha! The Harbinger of Chaos has struck again, my friends. Recent rather odd conversations and confused questions indicate that, as my friends list expands, a brief clarification about my alter egos might be helpful.

1. Nadia. I am the core personality, a 29 year-old female psychiatry intern in Connecticut. I am fairly nice and do not bite. I ( Read more... )

I hope so too...

I know what was going on in that situation. troll attacks, big time. so I cannot blame him for asking....as I have been there before myself.

Oh no, that's really too bad. I've been lucky. Only had one troll pop in here so far, just before I made most of these posts friends-only.

You're telling me that Ony isn't a stand alone mouse but that Ony is you?

Hee, he's going to kill me now. Ony is definitely a stand-alone mouse. He's only me in that we share a some of the same views.

..and a couple of fandoms, a strange sense of humor, and the occasional scary psychic connection. But Ony is certainly his own mouse.

Musicals...have you ever seen Chinese operas, Miz Nadia?

I just happen to have a copy of the Shaw Brothers production of "Lady General Hua Mu Lan" which periodically breaks into song...in Mandarin. I could share...

No, I haven't seen any. My sister knows some Mandarin; I don't know any Chinese at all...though I really should try to learn someday. Maybe after I get through some more Spanish. I'm soooo bad at learning new languages. :(

One day, you might have as many names as I do.

Possibly.

Oh, did I leave that off my list of lifetime aspirations? It should be there, under "happy."

But I shall never be as snarky. You are the confirmed ruler of that territory.

Arr.

After having typed which, I realise you don't know the backstory to that, so I will fill you in. Last weekend at work (serving tea to golfers on the local course. *joy*) one of the guys shouted out a question to his friend outside, who replied as he came in with a very affirmative and pirate-like "Arr."

Thus, in the hopes that it will grant me a flying burning shark, I have started saying it as well.

Ha! I love it. You may have one of my flying burning sharks. Well... Maybe two. ;)

Added back. I nearly beat you to it :)

Harleen can vouch for the back catalogue of poetry and fiction that you have now exposed yourself to, given how much time there is on your hands :)

I really ought to do a post like this, as so many of my friends are recently new to me.

Here's the first bit of the comic 19th century sci-fi (!). I put a few chapters up, but most people don't have the time.

Crustacean's Dream

There are another ten chapters, but only Harleen and a small select band have seen those. I paused to get on with 'Empyreal' (poem approaching mini novel length in bite sized scenes), which can be accessed using my 'memories'. There has recently been more output on 'Empyreal' including a first stab at alliterative verse. Once accumulated into a chunk, the new stuff will be added to my memories as well.

If more of 'Crustacean' appeals I can email, but I'm giving Harleen a test before she can have any more, as she hasn't yet finished what I've sent ;)

Wow, that's awesome. You come bearing gifts. And they are of a sci-fi nature. I could not have asked for more. Welcome to the fold. :D
