wow! another 3 banks failed on Friday, brings this year's total to 32 failed banks. (see previous post from last week, when 4 banks failed)

my 20 year old trusty serger, well, not so trusty anymore. A tension dial popped off in my hand.

I'm happily shopping for a new one. 20 years has brought some improvements, and a lowering of prices!

so far in 2009, 29 banks have failed. Compare that to full year totals:
