Alia shivered in the night He quest for the purpose of the kami led her nowhere If the kami had not purpose did she have no purpose since she was also one of the eight million kami of Japan
It was not like she did not believe in the kami She was a kami, her brother was a kami and her grandmother was a kami She had been to Izumo Yet even after meeting Susanoo and Amaterasu she wondered why they existed
She tried talking to her brother but he was more like a dog than a god Even though she owed her existence as a kami to him and to the misplaced adoration of her character in a human novel by an enemy of her family Her existence in itself made no sense
Kaede who had served the kami out of sense of duty to the kami Kikyou who should be bitter for the pain service the kami had thrust upon her was more honest,but still carried in spite of all her suffering
Her mother was grateful that they had allowed her to meet Father and have her two children. Even though she hated that the kami had interfered in the birth of those children she still loved them
