He walked the City streets quietly, carrying with him a rather large, white box. Someone was late in giving his real Christmas present to Yuuki, but today was perfect. [He chuckled lightly at her remark. He did have a soft spot for children... especially that one since she was so much like Yuuki.]

I could ask you the same question, Di Di... The City is dangerous so late at night.

[Then again, it was probably obvious why he was out late with that huge box he has. There's a pink ribbon on it too.]

[Giving a small sigh, Yuuki watched the air around her puff up into wispy clouds of smoke. It was cold, chilly, and she didn't have very many clothes for the winter season. Right now she stood in a long skirt that fell a couple inches past her knees, stockings, and a long sleeved sweater. Indoors she had begun to feel a little restless, though. Raising her hands up, she caught a caught the snowflakes that fell into her open hands.

Her brother would be back soon. Ever since they had begun living here, he'd been forced to take care of all kinds of new problems and things for her sake. He was working so hard, just for her. A little sad, she wished there was a way she was able to show her appreciation.

Somehow I'll make it up to everyone.

Glancing up to the sky, she wondered how long the snow would continue.]

[His thoughts still with that little girl from the orphanage, Kaname walked quietly with Yuuki's present in one arm. He had been in and out of the City so many times that he could walk home without thinking.]

[Home... He somehow wished he was truly home.]

[A presence returned his thoughts back to reality. Yuuki was standing in the snow, obviously freezing. Why was she out when it was so cold?]

[He approached the manor with a small smile on his lips.]

[Integra leaves the office of her manor to take a walk in the grounds. The crisp air and the night are pleasant to her senses. She tucks a cigar on her mouth as she watches Kaname's return from the distance.

Unlike him, she has little interest in the City proper.]
