*holds belly* Oooooooooooh, I ate too much. Went over to brother's house for big spaghetti lunch and stuffed my face. Also took over some chocolate bundt cake which counted as my birthday cake since I didn't get one last weekend (went to Sam's Club with Mom yesterday and convinced her that I needed a cake). Ooooooooh. And now I am back home and lounging and decided to do some memes. UPDATE: I have now just had supper and stuffed my face even more. Ooooooooh. Why can't I learn to just stop eating? Ooooooooooh.
First things first, I will do the ones that I stole from
tinted_glass.
::Fandom Character Meme::
Name a character from one of my fandoms, and I'll give you either ...
1. three facts about them from my personal canon/fanon
2. a reason he/she sucks
3. a reason he/she is awesomecakes
4. five things that never happened to that character
5. five people that character never fell in love with and why
You can choose which of these numbers I'll give you. (You can also choose more than one IF YOU MUST.)
Next One:
The Rules: Pretty simple. List three things most people may not have known about you. Elaborate, if possible.
1. I love Ed Helms. Hahaha, I kid, I kid. Not about loving Ed though, because I love him immensely, but you all already knew that. Um... hmm. I have really, really, really greasy hair. Like seriously greasy. You know that term "you greasy Italian?" I'm 99% sure that people are talking about me when they say that. Two hours after I wash my hair the grease starts building up again. It's annoying. My face is the same way. Oily as can be, which explains my acne. But guess what's dry as sandpaper? My hands! BAH! Why can't my oiliness be evenly distributed?
2. When I was 2 years old I was chased out of the pet store by a fluffy white bunny and I screamed my head off, and apparently I've been afraid of animals ever since.
3. When I was in third grade I almost won my class spelling bee. We were separated into two teams, and everyone on my team was gone, whereas the other team had 4 players left. We went on and on for about an hour like that and none of us slipped up, so my teacher just called the game and the other team won because they had more players left. I was bummed because I had held up so long all by myself, but I was proud too, and the fact that I hung on against 4 good players (all of which happened to be my best buddies) meant so much more to me than actually winning. Especially since in second grade I was one of the worst spellers and the teacher got fed up with me. Fast forward to third grade and Mrs. Goldenbogen, the greatest teacher in the world, and I became one of the top spellers in my entire grade. It was a lovely day.
And now for a music meme, because I felt like sharing some tunes. Welcome to the soundtrack of my life.
Now, this can be done using the shuffle feature of your ipod and you just write down whatever comes up, or you can choose what songs you want to use for these moments in your life movie. I'm going with choosing my own.
Opening Credits:
Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy) - Big and Rich - Because this song is just pure fun, and what would I like to do most in this world? Ride a cowboy, baby!
Waking Up:
Time's a Wastin' - Carl Smith and June Carter Cash - Because it takes me forever to wake up, and time's a wastin'
First Day of School:
Ugly - Sugababes - Because school was the beginning of my low self-esteem, I always felt so out of place.
Falling In Love:
Teardrops on my Guitar - Taylor Swift - Because, sadly, every time I've fallen in love, it has been silent and unrequited.
Fight Song:
Bye Bye - Jo Dee Messina (and just to promote my man Phil, here's the
Phil Vassar version, he's the one who wrote the song). This one is pretty self explanatory. She figured out that he wasn't the man for her and left his sorry ass. YAY!!!
Breaking Up:
It's Getting Better all the Time - Brooks and Dunn - Oh, my heart! :'(
Prom:
Friends in Low Places - Garth Brooks - Because I rebelled against tradition and went on my own, and I danced up a storm, even the slow songs! (I randomly latched onto dancing couples and they would just laugh, and I made humping motions on this one dude who used to do that to me ALL THE TIME in middle school, and he said that I violated him. Hee.) And of course because they played this at my prom and everyone gathered into a circle and we put our arms on each other's shoulders and swayed and sang to the song, and it was my special moment because everyone knew that I'd enjoy the Garth song the most.
Life:
It's a Great Day to be Alive - Travis Tritt - Because on most days this is how I feel. And when I'm down, I listen to this and remember that things are never as bad as I make them out to be, and I should just appreciate every day that I have on this earth.
Mental Breakdown:
Opera 2 - Vitas - Just because it would be wicked awesome to see me just sitting there with a dark look on my face, the camera slowly panning in closer and closer and then it gets to the chorus and I just start trashing the room in slow motion. AWE-SOME.
Driving:
Life is a Highway - Chris LeDoux (so much better than the Rascal Flatts version) - Because it's just pure awesomeness. Was also debating
I'm in a Hurry to Get Things Done by Alabama, but it doesn't really fit me. I just like listening to it when I drive.
Flashback:
Remember When - Alan Jackson - Because I hope I have all these beautiful memories that I can look back on throughout the course of my life
Getting Back Together:
Not That Different - Collin Raye - Such a beautiful song. This used to bring me to tears every time I listened to it.
Wedding:
Lost in the Moment - Big and Rich - Because it is so ooey gooey sappy! And it's by my men Big and Rich! Yay!
Birth of Child:
In My Daughter's Eyes - Martina McBride - OMG! *cries* SO SWEET!
Final Battle:
It's My Life - Bon Jovi - Because... it's my life, and I've got to fight for it. And this song always gets me moving.
Death Scene:
If Heaven - Andy Griggs - *sniffle*
Funeral Song:
The Dance - Garth Brooks - I have said on several occasions that I want this played at my funeral when I die. It just fits. Life with no regrets. Wouldn't trade a day, even if it meant I could have gotten rid of all the pain.
Ending Credits:
This One's for the Girls - Martina McBride - Because us girls deserve a little celebration
