4 more days and I will be gone....this does not feel like a deployment coming up for some reason. I don't know how to explain it but it just doesn't feel like a normal deployment. Are we THAT used to them that it really doesn't affect us anymore or is just that we are hiding our feelings to ourselves so we don't upset the other people in the family ( Read more... )

Yes I am allowed mail. I will email the address to you when we leave or you can look it up online. USS Hawes FFG53 just google it and you can find the address to the ship. I am in OI Div OS1 Troy Cook.
Yeah they are going to miss me but it all comes part of the job. They understand that, they may not like it but they understand it.
