First, I apologize for taking so long to reply to your post. I've been sidelined with some health issues this week, and it pretty well flattened me. I'm so sorry to have kept you waiting.

More to the point: Thank you SO MUCH for this! I'm all chair-dancey about you pointing out the places that you got confused and suggesting how I could have done it better. This is exactly what I've been starving for ever since I began recording podfic, and I am enormously grateful for your thoughtful and very helpful comments.

In fact, it really brought home the need to be hyper-aware when recording my own stories. I have a mental movie playing in my head that listeners don't have access to, and I need to pay attention to painting a complete and coherent image in the way that I read the story. I hadn't thought about that before, so this is really helpful.
